Conclusion

How could Parasites affect our future?

Although parasites cannot yet be vaccinated, and most antibiotics to cure people from parasitic infections have adverse side affects, parasites probably won't cause a large threat to our world in the future. All parasites have difficulties travelling and being transferred, which is the one factor as to why parasites haven't caused too much difficulty to the world as a whole yet. Even though some parasites can be much more deadly and painful than say, and influenza, parasites lack the ability to be transmitted through the air and other systems like an influenza which holds back the devastating potential of parasites. The only major problematic parasite to us now is the Plasmodium parasite which causes Malaria, however the world is advancing on this parasite with full force and ways have been developed to prevent the mosquito vectors from transmitting Malaria to humans. However due to possible climate change, if other countries became warm enough for the Malaria-transmitting mosquito to migrate overseas then the world would have trouble containing Malaria. Many other parasites which are contagious such as fungal parasites don't yet effect humans, however if some of them, such as the Cordyceps parasite, gained a way to become contagious to humans then we would have to act quick and cautiously to contain the deadly parasite. Luckily with modern science, we are able to act quickly against any upcoming parasite, virus, or super-bug so our world will most likely stay safe from any dangerous parasite that may arise in the future.
